Job summary

Boots Opticians in-store role of Optical Assistant supports customers from greeting to helping with eye-wear solutions and pre-screening activities. You’ll work on the shop floor, build relationships, and learn through the Step Into Optics training programme.

You will dispense glasses and contact lenses, assist with eye-tests, provide aftercare, and handle dispensing administration while maintaining high shop standards and great customer care.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail or clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Order, dispense and collect glasses and contact lenses
• Support with eye-tests and pre-screening activities
• Provide aftercare support through repairs and adjustments
• Complete operational and administrative tasks associated with dispensing prescriptions
• Maintain shop floor standards
