Job summary

Greenhous DAF Tamworth is seeking a friendly, professional Service Advisor to join our busy service department. You’ll be the main point of contact for customers from booking to collection, working closely with technicians to progress jobs efficiently and keep customers informed.

The ideal candidate has experience in a customer-facing role within automotive services, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem solving.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar customer-facing role, ideally in automotive.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Good understanding of vehicle servicing and repair processes.
• Experience using dealership or workshop management systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and manage service bookings professionally.
• Act as main contact for customers throughout service and repair.
• Record customer requirements and prepare workshop job cards.
• Liaise with technicians to progress jobs efficiently.
• Provide customers with regular progress updates and costs.
