Job summary

Emplyfy in Hertford Heath is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to support customer environments through a hands-on role, combining remote assistance with regular on-site activity. You will deploy, test, maintain and troubleshoot hardware and software, manage incidents via the ticketing system and provide timely updates to clients, ensuring service levels are met.

A minimum of 5 years in IT with Cyber Essentials, GDPR, Microsoft 365, Intune, Azure, Windows Server, and strong

Qualifications

5+ years in an IT role.
Cyber Essentials and GDPR security implementation (mandatory).
Microsoft 365 core services including Email/SharePoint/Teams/OneDrive (mandatory).
Intune, RMM platforms and telecoms systems.
Networking: routers, switches, DHCP/DNS, TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls.
Strong customer-service mindset and independent problem-solving.

Responsibilities

Provide technical assistance to customers and be the reliable point of contact.
Attend customer locations to diagnose faults, carry out repairs and complete scheduled maintenance.
Manage incidents and requests through the ticketing system.
Provide customers with timely updates and ensure service levels are met.
Escalate critical issues to Management when appropriate.
Review workload and priorities daily and take ownership of actions.
Monitor infrastructure to ensure it remains operational and meets business needs.
Deploy, test, maintain and troubleshoot hardware and software.
Accurately document technical work and keep service tickets up to date.
Take ownership of urgent incidents, remotely or on-site.
