Job summary

Emplyfy is seeking an experienced IT engineer to deliver hands-on support for a range of client environments, both on-site and remotely. You will resolve technical issues, manage incidents, and communicate clearly with customers to meet SLAs.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of IT engineering experience, with Cyber Essentials, GDPR, and Microsoft 365 proficiency, plus Azure, Intune and network infrastructure know-how. A collaborative, proactive approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar IT engineering role, with hands-on support experience.
• Mandatory Cyber Essentials and GDPR security standards implementation.
• Mandatory Microsoft 365 services experience including Email, SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive.
• Experience with Microsoft Intune, RMM solutions and telephone platforms.
• Strong knowledge of network infrastructure: routers, switches, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, firewalls and VLANs.
• Experience with Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 and Group Policy.
• Azure administration and implementation experience.
• Experience with Windows 10/11 and Mac operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to customers and act as a trusted contact for support matters.
• Visit customer sites to investigate and resolve issues and perform installations and maintenance.
• Manage incidents and requests through the Service Desk system.
• Provide customers with regular updates and ensure tickets progress within SLAs.
• Escalate critical or complex issues to Management when needed.
• Organise daily workloads and prioritise urgent tasks.
• Monitor customer environments to ensure reliability and business alignment.
• Install, configure, test, maintain and repair IT hardware and software.
• Document technical work and outstanding actions in tickets.
• Respond to major incidents remotely and on customer premises.
