Job summary

HSO is expanding its engineering capabilities and building a new generation of customer-facing engineers to turn AI and data into measurable business value. You will embed with strategic customers, own technical delivery, and work across Microsoft technologies to design secure, scalable solutions that transform operations.

The role emphasizes hands-on software engineering, data platform expertise, and strong collaboration with Deployment Strategists to ensure outcomes align with business

Qualifications

• Significant experience across software engineering, cloud engineering, data engineering, solution development, with senior level ownership of complex solutions.
• Strong hands on experience building and operating production grade solutions on at least one major cloud platform.
• Strong understanding of modern enterprise data platforms, including data architecture, integration, transformation, governance and the role data plays in enabling AI workloads.
• Experience with Microsoft data technologies such as Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks, OneLake or comparable platforms would be highly valuable.
• Practical experience designing, building and deploying AI powered applications using Azure AI, OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Vertex AI or similar technologies.
• Hands on experience with large language models, prompting, retrieval augmented generation, evaluation and agent orchestration.
• Strong customer facing experience in consulting, transformation, delivery or technical leadership.
• Ability to learn quickly, understand unfamiliar environments and apply strong engineering and data fundamentals to new problems.

Responsibilities

• Own Customer Outcomes by embedding with customer teams and translating priorities into technical delivery plans.
• Lead technical discovery workshops to understand challenges and identify AI, data and automation opportunities.
• Act as the technical lead, guiding sponsors, users, and teams toward successful delivery and measurable value.
• Design end-to-end solution architectures balancing speed, scalability, security and governance.
• Build and ship enterprise-grade AI and data solutions, integrating with cloud and data platforms.
• Create reusable patterns and contribute to HSO delivery assets for future engagements.
