Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with our strategic customers, designing and delivering custom full-stack applications on the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform. You will own the architecture, lead design decisions, and implement end-to-end systems spanning data, AI, and application layers for enterprise use.

Qualifications

Strong background in software engineering across backend, frontend, and systems integration.
Proficiency in Python, SQL, Java/Scala, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frameworks.
Experience delivering production applications that combine data pipelines, ML/AI models, and user interfaces.

Responsibilities

Own architecture and design decisions for secure, scalable solutions.
Design, develop, and deploy full-stack applications on the Databricks platform.
Deliver production-grade systems from data ingestion to ML/AI model integration.
Embed with customer teams to understand challenges and deliver impact.
Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Field Engineering for a seamless customer journey.
Contribute accelerators, frameworks, and best practices to scale impact.
