Mole Valley Farmers in Frome is hiring a Customer Experience Team Member for a part-time role. You’ll help customers find the right products, offer expert advice, and create a welcoming store environment.

You will work closely with the team to support sales targets and ensure customers leave with a positive impression. The role is permanent, with 6 hours per week, including Saturdays; compensation is £10.85–£12.71 per hour.

About The Role

As a Customer Experience Team Member, you’ll be at the heart of our store — helping customers find the right products, offering expert advice, and creating a welcoming environment. You’ll work closely with your team to deliver a high-quality retail experience, support sales targets, and ensure every customer leaves with a positive impression.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering friendly, knowledgeable, and solution-focused service
• Building strong relationships with customers and understanding their needs
• Promoting current offers and recommending suitable products
• Supporting the delivery of sales targets and store KPIs
• Handling customer queries and taking ownership of follow-up

  About You

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good IT skills and a willingness to learn new systems
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
  • Awareness of Data Protection / GDPR and Health & Safety standards
  • You’ll be confident, approachable, and self-motivated, with a flexible and team-oriented attitude. Experience in customer-facing roles is a bonus, but not essential, we’re happy to support your development.
