Job summary

Mole Valley Farmers Limited is seeking a Customer Experience Team Member in St Columb on a part-time, temporary contract. The role focuses on friendly, expert customer service, helping shoppers find products and providing advice to support sales targets.

You’ll work on a rota, 20 hours per week, with a welcoming, team-driven store atmosphere. The position requires a genuine interest in retail, strong communication, and the ability to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly, knowledgeable and solution-focused service to customers

• Support achievement of sales targets and store KPIs
• Handle customer queries and take ownership of follow-up
• Demonstrate strong product knowledge across all departments
• Promote the membership scheme and process transactions accurately
• Maintain high standards of store presentation and stock awareness
• Follow health and safety procedures and safe working practices

We’re looking for a friendly, knowledgeable, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Experience Team Member. About The Role

Contract: Temporary

Hours: Part-time

Hours of Work: 20 Hours per week, working on a rota basis

As a Customer Experience Team Member, you’ll be at the heart of our store — helping customers find the right products, offering expert advice, and creating a welcoming environment. You’ll work closely with your team to deliver a high-quality retail experience, support sales targets, and ensure every customer leaves with a positive impression.

Key responsibilities include:

• Promoting current offers and recommending suitable products
• Supporting the delivery of sales targets and store KPIs
• Handling customer queries and taking ownership of follow-up

• Maintaining high standards of store presentation and stock awareness
• Following health & safety procedures and safe working practices

About You

• A genuine interest in customer service and retail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Good IT skills and a willingness to learn new systems
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
• Awareness of Data Protection / GDPR and Health & Safety standards
• You’ll be confident, approachable, and self-motivated, with a flexible and team-oriented attitude. Experience in customer-facing roles is a bonus, but not essential, we’re happy to support your development.
