Job summary

MorePeople is seeking a Customer Service Supervisor for a busy Gloucestershire garden centre to lead the customer service and till operations on a day-to-day basis. You will be hands-on, confident with customers, and have experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor.

You’ll manage rotas, support recruitment and training, and work closely with the management team to deliver consistently high service levels. This is a leader-ship role in a retail environment where staff development and problem

Qualifications

• Experience leading customer service or retail teams.
• Proven ability to handle difficult conversations.
• Experience with rotas and team organisation.
• Experience in recruitment and training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the Customer Service and Till team day-to-day.
• Maintain high standards of customer service across the department.
• Support customers with queries, refunds, exchanges and more complex issues.
• Organise rotas and ensure the team is in the right place at the right time.
• Support with recruitment, training and development of the team.
• Oversee till procedures and the smooth running of the front-of-house area.
• Help coordinate customer orders, deliveries and collections.
• Work closely with the wider management team and other departments.
• Get stuck in and support the team during busy periods.
