Job Description:

My client, a leading IT Solutions provider, is seeking to recruit a Desktop Support Engineer to join an expanding Customer Support team. This client has over 10,000 employees worldwide and supports numerous large Enterprise Customers. The role requires:

  • Owning, investigating, and resolving customer technical issues, collaborating across teams, and utilizing troubleshooting tools.
  • Participating in peer communities and sharing knowledge where appropriate.
  • Developing technical and professional skills through training and readiness.
  • Identifying potential product defects and escalating issues to improve Microsoft products.
  • Fluency in English with effective communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • At least 3 years of experience in technical support or a related field.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Strong knowledge of Office 365 and Office deployment processes.
  • Proficiency with Office core applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Publisher, InfoPath, Access).
  • Understanding of Office integration with Windows, SharePoint, OneDrive, and mobile platforms.
  • Additional desirable skills include networking, communication protocols, object-oriented programming, and technical literacy.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Microsoft Technology Certifications.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
