Job summary

Tesco Carmarthen Extra is hiring a Customer Delivery Driver. You will collect and deliver groceries to customers, load the van, keep areas clean, and ensure orders arrive in good condition.

You’ll work independently most of the day with support from a local team when needed. The role offers a minimum of 12 hours per week with many shifts available, a starting hourly rate of £14.18 rising to £15.45 in some stores, and a range of employee benefits including holiday entitlement, staff discounts,

Qualifications

• A valid UK driving licence with up to 3 penalty points is required.
• Customer-focused approach with a friendly and helpful attitude.
• Ability to work well with colleagues and adapt to changing road conditions.

Responsibilities

• Load the van safely and keep it clean and organized.
• Deliver to customers within the promised time slot and handle substitutions or refunds as needed.
• Assist customers with order changes and ensure products are cared for during transport.
