Job summary

Tesco is looking for Customer Delivery Drivers to bring orders to customers’ homes across the area. You will be on the road, handling loading, delivery windows, and customer interactions with a helpful and smile-driven approach.

Roles offer varied shifts, guaranteed minimum hours per week, and opportunities for additional payments in some locations. A valid UK driving licence and reliable vehicle preparation are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.
• Excellent customer service and strong communication.
• Ability to work independently with a flexible approach.

Responsibilities

• Keep van, trays, and work area clean and organised so every customer receives their shopping in perfect condition.
• Load the van safely and complete checks to ensure it’s roadworthy.
• Explain order changes/substitutions to customers clearly and calmly, offering refunds when needed.
• Handle products with care to maintain quality and customer trust.
• Deliver within the customer’s time slot with warm, friendly service at the doorstep.
