Job summary

John Lewis Partnership is hiring a Customer Delivery Driver in Bath to bring Waitrose produce and partner-led service to customers’ doors. You’ll support shop tasks when not on the road, with a £3.75 per hour night premium for hours 22:00–06:00.

Roles are part-time across seven days, with a friendly, customer-focused ethos in a growing employee-owned business. The role requires a full valid B-category UK driving licence, great customer service, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic

Qualifications

• Full valid B-category UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Good time management and reliability.
• Able to handle physical tasks such as lifting crates.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• IT literacy.

Responsibilities

• Checking delivery routes for the day.
• Loading and preparing van for deliveries and ensure orders are delivered to customers.
• Carrying out vehicle safety checks and maintaining road safety.
• Representing the Waitrose brand with customer service as priority.
• Helping customers with shopping and building rapport.
• Supporting shop team with general tasks.
