Job summary

Waitrose & Partners Bath is hiring a Customer Delivery Driver to bring premium Waitrose produce to customers’ doors while upholding our service ethos. You’ll also assist the shop team with daily tasks, stock replenishment and housekeeping when not on the road.

Role requires a clean B-category UK driving licence, strong customer service, and the ability to manage time and physical tasks. Night premium applies for late shifts, and hours are part-time across seven days.

Qualifications

• Full valid B-category UK manual driving licence with minimal points.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to engage customers.
• Strong time management to meet delivery schedules.
• Ability to handle physical tasks including lifting crates and moving cages.
• Comfortable working independently and staying motivated.
• Basic IT literacy to handle devices and order details.

Responsibilities

• Check delivery routes for the day and plan efficient journeys.
• Load and prepare the van; ensure all orders are complete for delivery.
• Carry out vehicle safety checks and maintain road compliance and safety.
• Represent the Waitrose brand with excellent customer service on the road.
• Assist customers with shopping and build rapport through service.
• Support shop team with general tasks when required.
