Job summary

Tesco Delivery Driver positions involve meeting customers in their homes to provide great service with a smile. It’s hands‑on, physical work with varied shifts, including early mornings and evenings.

Pay starts at £14.18 per hour, rising to £15.45 in stores within the M25, with a guaranteed minimum of 16 hours per week and options for 12‑hour roles. You’ll be responsible for loading, delivering and ensuring customer satisfaction on every order.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.
• Guaranteed minimum of 16 hours per week, with some roles from 12 hours.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders within the customer’s time slot and provide warm, friendly service at the doorstep.
• Load the van safely and perform pre‑start checks to ensure roadworthiness.
• Keep the van, trays and work area clean, tidy and organised.
• Communicate any order changes or substitutions clearly and handle refunds to keep the experience smooth.
• Build strong relationships with colleagues to support great team service.
