Job summary

Tesco is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver to bring groceries and service to customers' doors. The role is hands-on, varied, and involves driving, loading, and customer interaction. You’ll work independently much of the day with support from a local team.

Pay starts at £14.18 per hour, rising to £15.45 in M25 stores, with a guaranteed minimum of 16 hours per week, and some locations offering additional payments. Flexible shifts and a range of benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Holds a valid UK driving licence (full or automatic) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.
• Strong customer service and effective communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and with a team in a busy delivery environment.

Responsibilities

• Keep your van, trays, and work area clean, tidy and organised for every delivery.
• Load the van safely and perform checks to ensure roadworthiness.
• Communicate order changes or substitutions clearly and help with refunds when needed.
• Handle products with care and deliver within the customer time slot.
