Job summary

Tesco is seeking Customer Delivery Drivers across the United Kingdom. You will meet customers in their homes, delivering excellent service with a friendly, helpful approach.

The role is hands-on and varied, with shifts that fit around your day and a supportive team at base. Pay starts at £14.18 per hour, rising to £15.45 in M25 stores, with a guaranteed minimum of 16 hours per week and options for 12-hour roles.

Qualifications

• Build strong relationships with colleagues to create great team spirit and deliver the best service for customers.
• Be warm and welcoming with customers and colleagues.
• Respond quickly to changing customer needs and embrace change while out on the road and in the store.
• Hold a valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence (full or automatic) for at least 12 months, with no more than 3 penalty points.

Responsibilities

• Keep your van, trays, and work area clean and organised to ensure orders are delivered in perfect condition.
• Load the van safely and perform checks to ensure roadworthiness.
• Explain order changes or substitutions to customers and handle refunds when needed to keep the experience smooth.
• Handle products with care and treat each order as if it were your own.
