Job summary

Tesco PLC is looking for a Customer Delivery Driver to meet customers at their homes across the Reading area. You will drive a Tesco van, manage deliveries within time windows, and deliver warm, reliable service in line with store standards.

This hands-on, physical role offers variety, with early starts possible and a supportive team back at base. Benefits include holiday entitlement, discounts, and pension options.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid UK driving licence with up to 3 penalty points.
• Excellent customer service and friendly communication.
• Able to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Reliable, with a positive can-do attitude on shifts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries to customers within their chosen time slots.
• Keep the van and work area clean and organized.
• Check orders, handle substitutions or refunds when needed.
• Communicate clearly with customers about changes to orders.
• Ensure safety and roadworthiness of vehicle during shifts.
