Job summary

Asda Stores Ltd in Rushden is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver to join our store team. You will load your van, deliver to regular customers, and help ensure smooth operations with a friendly, can-do attitude.

The role is part-time, permanent, 30 hours per week, with afternoon shifts. A valid UK driving licence and customer-service focus are essential; full training is provided and you’ll join a team that values reliability, teamwork and positive energy.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence (full or automatic) for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Friendly and helpful approach to customer service.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Good communication skills and a team mindset.
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Load the van and prepare for deliveries.
• Deliver to regular customers and ensure a positive experience.
• Maintain a clean, road-ready van and assist during busy periods.
• Help the team with tasks when needed, including packing online orders.
• Be proactive in supporting customer service excellence.

Whether you're loading your van or delivering to your regular customers, you'll play a vital role in the smooth running of our operation, serving customers and putting them at the heart of everything by delivering our products right to their front door with a smile. When you're not on the road, you'll make sure your van is clean and fit for the next delivery (don't worry, you don't need to be an expert mechanic - we'll give you all the training you need) and when we are really busy, you'll be asked to help your team, picking and packing online orders.
