Job summary

Asda Stores Ltd in Havant is seeking a part-time Customer Delivery Driver to join our store team. You will deliver groceries and online orders with a friendly, customer-focused approach, supporting customers and placing them at the heart of service.

You'll load the van, deliver to regular customers, and ensure the van remains clean for the next shift. When busy, you will assist with picking and packing online orders and help teammates on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• A valid UK Driving Licence (Full or Automatic) for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Good communication skills and a friendly, helpful approach.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload the van for deliveries.
• Deliver orders to customers' homes or designated locations.
• Keep the van clean and well-maintained for next shifts.
• Assist the team with picking and packing online orders during busy periods.

Whether you’re loading your van or delivering to your regular customers, you’ll play a vital role in the smooth running of our operation, serving customers and putting them at the heart of everything by delivering our products right to their front door with a smile.

When you're not on the road, you'll make sure your van is clean and fit for the next delivery (don't worry, you don't need to be an expert mechanic – we'll give you all the training you need) and when we are really busy, you'll be asked to help your team, picking and packing online orders.
