Job summary

Asda is hiring a Customer Delivery Driver in Taunton for a permanent, full-time role. You’ll load your van, deliver to customers’ doors with a smile, and help the team with online orders when busy.

You must have a full UK driving licence and be reliable, customer-focused, and a team player with good communication. The role involves weekend/evening shifts, 36 hours per week, and training is provided.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Load the van and deliver groceries to customers' homes.
• Load and unload goods, assist with online order picking when needed.
• Ensure vehicle cleanliness and roadworthiness with training provided.

Whether you're loading your van or delivering to your regular customers, you'll play a vital role in the smooth running of our operation, serving customers and putting them at the heart of everything by delivering our products right to their front door with a smile.

When you're not on the road, you'll make sure your van is clean and fit for the next delivery (don't worry, you don't need to be an expert mechanic - we'll give you all the training you need) and when we are really busy, you'll be asked to help your team, picking and packing online orders.
