Job summary

Asda in Luton is hiring a part-time Customer Delivery Driver to join the store team and bring groceries to customers’ doors with a smile. You’ll handle van loading, deliveries, and routine van maintenance, while supporting your colleagues during peak times.

The role requires a valid UK driving licence and strong customer-service skills, with weekend/evening flexibility and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Qualifications

• A valid UK Driving Licence (Full or Automatic only) for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Friendly and helpful approach to customer service.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Good communication skills and a team mindset.
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and evenings – no two days are the same.

Responsibilities

• Load and deliver orders to customers’ front doors.
• Assist with loading the van and keeping it clean for the next delivery.
• Support the team during busy periods by picking and packing online orders.
• Provide a friendly, positive experience to every customer on shift.

When you’re not on the road, you’ll make sure your van is clean and fit for the next delivery (don’t worry, you don’t need to be an expert mechanic – we’ll give you all the training you need) and whenweare really busy, you’ll be asked to help your team, picking and packing online orders.
