Job summary

Asda is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver to join our Horwich store team on a fixed term, part-time basis. You will load your van, deliver to regular customers, and ensure a smooth operation with a focus on friendly service.

You'll need a valid UK driving licence, good communication, and a willingness to work afternoons, weekends, and flexible shifts. Training is provided to keep you up to speed and safe on the road.

Qualifications

• A valid UK driving licence (full or automatic) for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Friendly and helpful approach to customer service.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced customer service environment and to cover weekends/evenings.

Responsibilities

• Load the van and deliver to regular customers.
• Keep the van clean and well maintained for deliveries.
• Assist the team during busy periods and help with online order picking and packing.

When you're not on the road, you'll make sure your van is clean and fit for the next delivery (don't worry, you don't need to be an expert mechanic - we'll give you all the training you need) and whenweare really busy, you'll be asked to help your team, picking and packing online orders.
