Job summary

Asda is hiring a Customer Delivery Driver in Great Bridge for part-time hours. You will load and drive the van to deliver groceries to customers, with a friendly smile and a focus on service.

You’ll help keep the van clean, support the team during peak times, and assist with online order picking/packing when needed. Training provided for all general duties.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Driving Licence (Full or Automatic) for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Friendly and helpful approach to customer service.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Good communication skills and a team mindset.
• Flexibility to work weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

Whether you’re loading your van or delivering to your regular customers, you’ll play a vital role in the smooth running of our operation, serving customers and putting them at the heart of everything by delivering our products right to their front door with a smile. When you’re not on the road, you’ll make sure your van is clean and fit for the next delivery (don’t worry, you don’t need to be an expert mechanic - we’ll give you all the training you need) and when we are really busy, you’ll be asked to help your team, picking and packing online orders.
