Job summary

Asda is hiring a Customer Delivery Driver in Donnington Wood for an afternoon, part-time role. You will load and deliver goods to customers, represent the store with a friendly service, and keep the van ready for the next run. The position is permanent with a 22.5 hour week and a pay rate of £13.10 per hour.

On days off you may assist with other store duties and online order packing. A valid UK driving licence and good customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• A valid UK Driving Licence (Full or Automatic only) for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Good communication and a friendly customer service approach.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload the van and deliver orders to customers’ homes.
• Deliver to regular customers with a smile and ensure timely service.
• Keep van clean and ready for next delivery; assist during busy periods with picking and packing online orders.

When you're not on the road, you'll make sure your van is clean and fit for the next delivery (don't worry, you don't need to be an expert mechanic - we'll give you all the training you need) and when we are really busy, you'll be asked to help your team, picking and packing online orders.
