Job summary

Asda Stores Ltd in Dudley is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver to join the store team. You’ll load your van, deliver to regular customers, and contribute to smooth operations with a smile.

When not on the road you’ll keep the van clean and help with online order picking and packing. The role is part-time, afternoons, 8 hours per week, with training provided.

Qualifications

• A valid UK Driving Licence (Full or Automatic only) for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Friendly and helpful approach to customer service.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Good communication skills and a team mindset.

Responsibilities

• Load your van and deliver orders to customers’ homes, ensuring a positive customer experience.
• Keep the van clean and ready for next deliveries; training provided.
• When busy, assist the team with picking and packing online orders.

As a Customer Delivery Driver in our store team, you’ll be at the heart of the customer experience—serving with heart at pride. Whether you’re loading your van or delivering to your regular customers, you’ll play a vital role in the smooth running of our operation, serving customers and putting them at the heart of everything by delivering our products right to their front door with a smile. When you're not on the road, you'll make sure your van is clean and fit for the next delivery (don't worry, you don't need to be an expert mechanic – we'll give you all the training you need) and when we are really busy, you'll be asked to help your team, picking and packing online orders.
