Job summary

Asda is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver in Gloucester. You will be responsible for loading your van, delivering orders to customers at their homes, and assisting with online orders when required.

The role is part-time (22.5 hours per week) with shifts during the day, and training will be provided to help you perform confidently and safely on the roads.

Responsibilities

• Load delivery van and prepare orders for delivery.

Whether you’re loading your van or delivering to your regular customers, you’ll play a vital role in the smooth running of our operation, serving customers and putting them at the heart of everything by delivering our products right to their front door with a smile. When you're not on the road, you'll make sure your van is clean and fit for the next delivery (don't worry, you don't need to be an expert mechanic – we'll give you all the training you need) and when we are really busy, you'll be asked to help your team, picking and packing online orders.

What you’ll bring:

• A valid UK Driving Licence (Full or Automatic only) for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.
• A friendly and helpful approach to customer service.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Good communication skills and a team mindset.
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and evenings – no two days are the same.
