Job summary

Asda Stores Ltd in Tunbridge Wells is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver on a part-time basis (16 hours per week) to join our store team. You’ll help customers by delivering groceries to their front doors with a friendly smile and load your van when required.

You’ll keep your van clean, assist with online orders when busy, and receive training to perform duties safely. A valid UK driving licence is required, with up to 6 penalty points, and you’ll thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented

Qualifications

• A valid UK Driving Licence (Full or Automatic only) for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Friendly and helpful approach to customer service.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Good communication skills and a team mindset.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries to customers’ homes and load/unload the van as needed.
• Keep the van clean and ready for the next delivery.
• Assist with online orders when business is busy.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent Asda in a positive manner.

As a Customer Delivery Driver in our store team, you’ll be at the heart of the customer experience—serving with heart at pride. Whether you’re loading your van or delivering to your regular customers, you’ll play a vital role in the smooth running of our operation, serving customers and putting them at the heart of everything by delivering our products right to their front door with a smile.

When you're not on the road, you'll make sure your van is clean and fit for the next delivery (don't worry, you don't need to be an expert mechanic – we'll give you all the training you need) and when we are really busy, you'll be asked to help your team, picking and packing online orders.
