Job summary

Asda Stores Ltd in Swanley is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver on a part-time basis. You’ll be at the heart of the customer experience, loading your van and delivering to regular customers with a smile.

When not on the road you’ll keep the van clean and assist with online orders, training provided to be ready for busy periods. The role offers afternoons shifts, 23.5 hours per week, and a starting pay of £14.35 per hour.

Qualifications

• A valid UK Driving Licence (Full or Automatic only) for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.
• A friendly and helpful approach to customer service.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Good communication skills and a team mindset.
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and evenings – no two days are the same.

Responsibilities

• Load your van and deliver to regular customers as part of store operations.
• Deliver products to customers’ front doors with a smile and provide great service.
• Keep the van clean and fit for the next delivery; assist with online orders when busy.
• Support the team during peak times and help with picking and packing online orders.

When you're not on the road, you'll make sure your van is clean and fit for the next delivery (don't worry, you don't need to be an expert mechanic – we'll give you all the training you need) and when we are really busy, you'll be asked to help your team, picking and packing online orders.
