Job summary

Asda Stores Ltd is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver in Bexley Heath. This part-time, permanent role offers afternoons shifts and 22.5 hours per week. You will deliver to customers’ homes, support online order fulfillment, and keep the van clean and ready for the next trip.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid UK driving licence, be customer-focused, reliable, and a strong team player with good communication. Training is provided and weekend/evening work is expected.

Qualifications

• A valid UK Driving Licence (Full or Automatic) for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Friendly and helpful approach to customer service.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills and a team mindset.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload deliveries for the store's van.
• Deliver to customers' homes and maintain a high standard of service.
• Assist with picking and packing online orders when needed.

Whether you’re loading your van or delivering to your regular customers, you’ll play a vital role in the smooth running of our operation, serving customers and putting them at the heart of everything by delivering our products right to their front door with a smile. When you're not on the road, you'll make sure your van is clean and fit for the next delivery (don't worry, you don't need to be an expert mechanic – we'll give you all the training you need) and when we are really busy, you'll be asked to help your team, picking and packing online orders.
