Job summary

Asda Stores Ltd is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver in Bury St Edmunds for a part-time permanent role. You will deliver to customers, load your van, and help with online orders while maintaining a high standard of customer service.

Training will be provided to ensure safe driving and efficient delivery. The role requires a valid UK driving licence with up to 6 points, a friendly approach, strong communication, and flexibility to work afternoons, including weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Driving Licence (Full or Automatic) for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Friendly and helpful approach to customer service.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Good communication skills and a team mindset.
• Flexibility to work weekends and evenings – no two days are the same.

Responsibilities

• Load and deliver orders to customers’ front doors.
• Deliver to regular customers and uphold customer service standards.
• Keep the van clean and well-maintained for each shift.
• Assist the team with online orders during busy periods.

Whether you’re loading your van or delivering to your regular customers, you’ll play a vital role in the smooth running of our operation, serving customers and putting them at the heart of everything by delivering our products right to their front door with a smile. When you're not on the road, you'll make sure your van is clean and fit for the next delivery (don't worry, you don't need to be an expert mechanic – we'll give you all the training you need) and when we are really busy, you'll be asked to help your team, picking and packing online orders.
