Job summary

Government of Jersey is seeking a customer service associate to help shoppers on the shop floor and at service points, delivering friendly, efficient service and maintaining high standards of presentation and availability.

You will daily support promotions, know the sales targets, engage with customers to understand their needs, make recommendations, and ensure safety and compliance while keeping the store clean and welcoming.

Responsibilities

• To deliver a great shopping experience for our customers, putting customers before task every time
• Champion new ways of working within stores through an open mindset and positive attitude
• Complete tasks and processes that deliver the best standards
• Serve and sell positively across the store
• Serve our customers efficiently– on the shop floor and at service points
• Deliver high standards through great availability whilst keeping the store clean and tidy
• Know the daily sales targets, priorities, promotions and selling opportunities
• Have great product knowledge
• Proactively engage with customers to understand their needs and make recommendations
• Follow safe and legal working practices at all times
