Job summary

Marks & Spencer is seeking a Security Officer to create a safe, welcoming environment for customers and colleagues. You will be a calm, professional presence, helping customers feel supported while protecting people, stores and products.

You will use store technology, including mobile reporting and body-worn cameras, stay adaptable in a fast-paced retail setting, and work closely with colleagues to maintain high standards and safety.

Qualifications

• Previous security experience is preferred.
• A valid SIA licence is desirable, although not essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A calm, confident and professional approach.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to make sound decisions quickly.
• A genuine passion for customer service and keeping people safe.

Responsibilities

• Protect stores, people and products in a fast-paced retail environment.
