We have an opportunity for a Site Service Operative to join our Hygiene team at our Lightbody factory in Hamilton on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.

You will work in a busy team, maintaining high standards of hygiene, quality, safety, and output. Meeting food safety and health and safety standards is essential. The Site Service Operative will ensure that the facility areas are cleaned and maintained to a high standard.
The Site Service Operatives should have a strong work ethic and take pride in their work. Good communication skills are essential to work effectively within a team, highlight challenges, seek support, and offer support. These roles can be busy, so good organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines are key to success.

You’ll follow instructions to clean facility areas, including locker rooms, toilets, and canteens, and operate floor cleaning equipment.
You must be able to work alone or in a team, have clear English communication skills, and follow verbal and written instructions. You’ll also adhere to PPE rules, chemical dilution procedures, and health and safety regulations.
You’ll be responsible for completing paperwork to a high standard, performing tasks efficiently to reduce waste, reporting issues, and following company policies. You may also undertake duties to maintain external areas, such as light weeding and ground work, and clean communal areas.
