Based in a head office building in Birchwood, Warrington, you will join a team dedicated to customer excellence. Your responsibilities include managing post-sales customer queries, ensuring high-quality customer delivery, liaising directly with customers to troubleshoot and prioritize issues, and coordinating repairs and defect remediation efficiently. You will arrange for subcontractors or in-house personnel, keep customers informed of progress, and handle varied administrative duties such as scheduling, booking appointments, and maintaining database integrity. The role offers a flexible work arrangement: four days per week in the office and one day remote.
Preferred experience includes arranging for subcontractors or managing busy diaries with conflicting priorities. The key qualities are a passion for customer service, a bubbly personality, problem-solving skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Effective communication skills are essential, including probing to understand customer concerns and delivering outstanding service even when delivering difficult news. Confidence in IT systems and multiple scheduling platforms is required. Availability at short notice is also preferred.
This is a fixed-term role until the end of 2025, with potential for permanent employment for the right candidate. The position is based in Birchwood with free parking and the option to work from home one day per week. The salary is £29,100 full-time equivalent, with standard hours from Monday to Thursday, 9am–5pm, and Friday, 9am–4pm. Additional benefits are available if the role becomes permanent.
