Job summary

Nationwide in Inverness is seeking a Customer Consultant to support customers in-branch and over the phone, guiding them through everyday banking moments and digital tools. The role is permanent, full-time (35 hours per week, Monday to Saturday) and based at the Inverness branch.

Training spans three weeks; no holiday is expected during this period. You’ll join a team committed to fairer finances and delivering trusted guidance, with opportunities for development and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• No banking experience required, customer service background helpful.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers into the branch and understand their needs to offer trusted, friendly help with banking.
• Handle a range of transactions and queries accurately, while prioritising security and fairness.
• Help customers get the most from our digital services, making banking easier and more accessible.
• Guide customers through products and services that fit their needs and money management.
