Job summary

Henderson Group in Northern Ireland is hiring a Customer Advisor for full-time 37.5 hours per week. Pay ranges from £11.95 to £13.30 per hour depending on age and benefits, with morning, evening and weekend shifts.

You will greet customers, operate checkouts, replenish stock, merchandise, price items, and may cover the Post Office. Training is provided; a positive attitude and teamwork are valued traits.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail is not required; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Listen to and understand customers' needs and advise on products and services.
• Operate all checkouts accurately and process transactions quickly.
• Replenish stock daily and follow stock rotation processes.
• Merchandise stock effectively to enhance sales.
• Ensure stock is displayed at correct prices with shelf edge labels.
• Maintain high level of customer service at all times.
• May cover the Post Office when required.
• Other duties as needed.

Full-Time permanent positions available at 37.5 hours per week, working Monday to Sunday 6am-Midnight. Note Morning, Evenings and Weekend shifts will be expected for this role.

A look into the role

Reporting to the Store Management Team, you will assist in the efficient running of the store on a daily basis, ensuring that a high standards of customer service, is achieved at all times.

As Customer Advisor you will be required to:

• Listening to and understanding our customers' needs and advising customers about our products and services.
• Operate all checkouts accurately, ensuring customer transactions are processed efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Ensure that stock on a daily basis stock is replenished while complying with the company stock rotation process.
• Ensure that stock is effectively merchandised to enhance sales.
• Make sure that all stock is displayed at the correct price using the corresponding Shelf Edge Label.
• To actively ensure that a high level of customer service is achieved and maintained within the store at all times.
• You may be required to cover the Post Office when required as part of this role.
• Any other duties as required for the role.

Skills for Success
