Job summary

B&Q Newbury is recruiting a Stock Flow Customer Advisor on a permanent part‑time contract (15 hours per week). You’ll ensure the store is stocked with what customers need, support safety and efficiency, and collaborate with colleagues to improve service.

Shifts run Monday to Sunday, 6:00am–8:00pm. The role pays £13.10 per hour (includes 54p per hour location allowance) and applicants can email [e-mail] for details or to apply.

You’ll make sure the store is stocked with the things our customers need, as well as products that will spark new possibilities. Efficiency and safety will be vital of course, especially if you gain your forklift license with us. You’ll get to create too – exploring new solutions and making decisions that will help grow our business, together.

What we need:

A great communicator who can think clearly and make sound plans no matter how busy things get, you’ll feel right at home with us. You’re an organised and analytical thinker, and you know how to keep things simple. You also know how to work as a team – supporting your fellow colleagues and working through what you need to do, together. You’ll be happy to expand your skills by using new technology and learning new ways of working. You’re great at working in a team too, and flexible enough to work on a rota that includes weekends, evenings, and bank holidays.
