Job summary

B&Q Doncaster is seeking a Night Stock Flow Customer Advisor on a part- time basis (22.5 hours per week) for permanent shifts 8.00pm–6.00am. You’ll ensure shelves are stocked, safety is paramount, and you may gain forklift experience. Benefits and a supportive team help you thrive in a busy overnight environment.

You’ll be a strong communicator, enjoy teamwork, and be flexible to work weekends, evenings, and bank holidays, contributing to a positive store experience for customers.

Qualifications

• Excellent communicator; clear thinking and planning under pressure.
• Organised and analytical with ability to simplify tasks.
• Team player who supports colleagues and collaborates.
• Willing to learn new technology and adapt to rota including weekends/evenings/bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure store stocked with customer essentials and inspirational products.
• Support safety and efficiency in day-to-day store operations.
• Opportunity to gain forklift license and operate equipment.

UK Notional hourly rate £13.10 per hour (additional £2 per hour between 10pm - 5am)

What's the job?

Join our team, and you’ll think differently about how we inspire people to create a home they love. You’ll make sure the store is stocked with the things our customers need, as well as products that will spark new possibilities. Efficiency and safety will be vital of course, especially if you gain your forklift license with us. You’ll get to create too – exploring new solutions and making decisions that will help grow our business, together.

What we need:

A great communicator who can think clearly and make sound plans no matter how busy things get, you’ll feel right at home with us. You’re an organised and analytical thinker, and you know how to keep things simple. You also know how to work as a team – supporting your fellow colleagues and working through what you need to do, together. You’ll be happy to expand your skills by using new technology and learning new ways of working. You’re great at working in a team too, and flexible enough to work on a rota that includes weekends, evenings, and bank holidays.
