Job summary

B&Q Limited in Cardiff Gate Retail Park is seeking a part-time Customer Advisor for night stock flow on a 3-month fixed term contract. You’ll work 9:00pm–6:00am across a 3-day week, with a £13.10 hourly rate and a £2 premium for eligible night hours.

Join a team focused on stocking, safety, and service, with opportunities to gain forklift accreditation and contribute to store efficiency. You’ll need strong communication, organisation, and teamwork, and be flexible for weekend and bank holiday

Qualifications

• Excellent communicator who can stay calm and plan effectively.
• Organised and analytical thinker, able to simplify complex tasks.
• Strong team player with flexible weekend/evening shifts.
• Willing to learn new technology and processes.

Responsibilities

• Help stock store shelves to ensure products are available.
• Support safety and efficiency in night shifts.
• Potential forklift operation once licensed.
• Participate in rota that includes weekends, evenings and bank holidays.

Part Time - 22.50 hours per week (3 days per week)

3 Month Fixed Term Contract

Shifts available Monday - Sunday, 9.00pm - 6.00am

UK Notional hourly rate £13.10 per hour (additional £2 per hour between 10pm - 5am)

B&Q Cardiff Gate Retail Park

Colleagues under 18 are not permitted to work between 10pm-6am

You also know how to work as a team – supporting your fellow colleagues and working through what you need to do, together. You’ll be happy to expand your skills by using new technology and learning new ways of working. You’re great at working in a team too, and flexible enough to work on a rota that includes weekends, evenings, and bank holidays.
