Job summary

Confidential is recruiting a Customer Account Coordinator to join a team of five in Whitstable. You will process orders and quotations, build strong customer relationships, and coordinate with the Commercial Team, Product Group Managers, and Procurement to deliver accurate pricing and on-time deliveries.

This hybrid role offers 25 days leave, a cycle-to-work scheme, life assurance, pension contributions, and a 12-month fixed-term contract with core hours from 08:00 to 16:30.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience within an office environment.
• Accurate order processing and quotation handling.
• Commercial business knowledge relevant to customer accounts.
• IT knowledge at an intermediate level for systems and pricing.

Responsibilities

• Processing of customer orders and quotations within set KPIs.
• Establish and build strong customer relationships to deliver excellent service.
• Prepare customer quotations following guidelines and system requirements.
• Ensure export compliance when processing quotations and orders.
• Proactive quote follow up and negotiation where required.
• Understand pricing, value and margins to win orders.
• Coordinate with Commercial Team, Product Group Managers and Procurement to finalise pricing and lead times.
• Progress orders through to shipment using systems and supporting departments.
• Maintain proactive communication with customers throughout the lifecycle.
