Job summary

The college is seeking a Curriculum Manager for Plumbing to lead the development and delivery of the Plumbing/Building Services curriculum in a Surrey FE setting. The role combines strategic curriculum leadership with hands-on teaching to support high-quality student outcomes.

You will work with the Head of School to shape provision across Plumbing, Gas and Green Skills, manage curriculum teams and contribute to policy-aligned teaching and assessment approaches.

Qualifications

• Experience in Further Education or similar education/training settings.
• Strong knowledge of Plumbing, Gas, Green Skills or Building Services programmes.
• Experience leading curriculum teams and delivering quality student outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and delivery of the department's curriculum.
• Support the Head of School with curriculum leadership and planning.
• Manage curriculum teams to ensure high-quality teaching and learning.
• Deliver approximately 7.5 hours of teaching per week alongside management duties.
• Drive curriculum improvement and align provision to industry needs and policy.
