Yeovil College in Bath is seeking a Curriculum Leader for Mechanical to lead the Plumbing and Gas provision and shape an ambitious, high-quality Mechanical Trades curriculum. Based in our brand-new, industry-leading workshops and teaching spaces, you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact on both our learners and the team you lead.

As Curriculum Leader, you'll provide operational leadership across the Mechanical Trades curriculum, taking responsibility for learner outcomes, curriculum

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience, ideally within curriculum or apprenticeship provision.
• Strong industry expertise in Construction or Building Services with current knowledge.
• Learner-first mindset with a passion for outstanding teaching and outcomes.
• Commercial and analytical thinking to use data and drive improvement.
• Excellent communication and influence to operate in a busy environment.
• Relevant qualifications including Level 3 Construction/Building Services and Level 5 teaching, plus Level 2 English and Maths.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership across the Mechanical Trades curriculum.
• Lead and support a team of staff, setting high standards for teaching, learning and assessment.
• Monitor learner outcomes, attendance, retention and progression; drive quality improvement.
• Ensure compliance with awarding bodies and regulatory requirements.
• Grow and develop the curriculum using data and employer insight.
