Pilgrim’s Europe in Redruth is seeking a Curing Operator to join our production team. You will organise and prioritise tasks to meet safety, quality and production goals, operate machinery, and support documentation and traceability in a fast-paced environment.

This role offers shifts Mon-Fri, with early and late options, on-site parking, and weekly pay, plus staff discounts and progression opportunities as you develop your skills in food safety and quality control.

Formación

• Experience in food production is preferred but training is provided.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities are essential.
• Willingness to learn and develop in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Organise and prioritise tasks to meet production, safety and quality goals.
• Carry out manual handling and processing tasks.
• Check materials against quality standards.
• Monitor temperature, weight and stock usage in rotation.
• Ensure traceability and proper documentation.
• Support health, safety and hygiene standards.
• Report faults or process issues and help solve them.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and problem solving.
• Operate machinery and handle equipment safely.
• Collaborate with team members, Process Controllers and Line Leaders.

Shift patterns available

• Monday to Friday 05:30 - 14:30
• Monday to Friday 14:30 - 23:30

Key Responsibilities

• Organise and prioritise tasks to meet production, safety, and quality goals.
• Carry out manual handling and processing tasks.
• Check materials against quality standards.
• Monitor product temperature, weight, and stock usage in life rotation.
• Ensure traceability, proper documentation, and new product compliance.
• Support health, safety, and hygiene standards.
• Report and help solve faults or process issues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and problem-solving efforts.
• Operate machinery and handle equipment safely and responsibly.
• Work collaboratively with team members, Process Controllers, and Line Leaders.
