Job summary

Pilgrim's Europe are seeking an Oven Onload Operative to ensure smooth production in our uncured and curing areas. You will follow strict quality and safety standards and communicate across production and planning with a keen eye for detail.

The role is based on an early schedule with the possibility of supporting other areas as needed, and comes with a competitive hourly rate and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Food Safety is preferred.
• Previous production line experience is advantageous.
• Ability to use computer and basic emails; Excel knowledge is beneficial.
• Good communication between production and planning.

Responsibilities

• Operate oven onload to ensure timely production.
• Follow quality and safety standards.
• Carry out stock rotation and maintain correct cook/maturation times.
• Communicate clearly between production and planning.
• Support other areas as needed.

Job description

We are looking Oven Onload Operative – this is a key role in ensuring our production processes run smoothly and efficiently in our uncured and curing areas. The job holder will follow strict quality and safety standards while contributing to a positive team environment, the successful candidate will need to be able work autonomously and be able to communicate in a clear manner between various areas of the production and planning. The right candidate will also have a keen eye for detail and be able to understand specs and have the ability to carry out stock rotation, ensuring products are cooked within the correct time frames ensuring cure / maturation times are adhered to.. Whilst this position is based as an oven onload there may be times when flexibility is required and helping other areas.

Earn Big: Competitive hourly rate, with the potential to earn over £600 per week

Balanced Schedule: 06.00–14.00 Monday to Friday
