Job summary

Pilgrim’s Europe is seeking a dedicated Curing Operator in Redruth to support the production team and uphold quality and safety standards. You will handle processing tasks, monitor product quality and traceability, and maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace.

The role emphasizes proactive problem-solving and teamwork. The position offers a 5:30 am to 2:30 pm Monday to Friday shift, full-time permanent contract, and weekly pay with benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in food production environments preferred.
• Knowledge of safety and hygiene practices.

Responsibilities

• Organise and prioritise tasks to meet production, safety, and quality goals.
• Carry out manual handling and processing tasks.
• Check materials against quality standards.
• Monitor product temperature, weight, and stock usage.
• Ensure traceability and proper documentation.
• Support health, safety and hygiene standards.
• Report faults or process issues and aid resolution.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and problem-solving.
• Operate machinery safely and responsibly.
• Collaborate with team members, Process Controllers and Line Leaders.
