Job summary

Powys County Council invites applications for two Community, Culture and Digital Officer (Relief hours) posts in Aberhonddu. The role offers part-time, temporary relief hours to provide a dynamic service to residents, community groups and visitors, delivering excellent customer experiences while engaging with digital and physical resources to foster a love of history, culture and lifelong learning.

Qualifications

• Experience of using ICT and adapting to changing technologies at work.
• Good understanding of public libraries, museums and cultural venues and their community role.
• 5 GCSEs, A-C or equivalent.
• Commitment to high standards.
• Ability to work on own initiative as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

• Undertake day-to-day operation of the facility including supervising volunteers.
• Provide warm welcome and high level customer service and guidance to customers.
• Support customers with a wide range of digital systems and resources.
• Promote use of cultural facilities and act as ambassador for the service.
