Job summary

Powys County Council's library service is seeking a proactive team member to support residents, visitors and local groups with digital and physical resources, delivering a warm, informative customer experience.

You will help with day-to-day operations, supervise volunteers, promote cultural facilities, and guide customers to council and government services while championing inclusion and diversity.

Qualifications

• Experience using ICT and adapting to changing technologies in a work setting.
• Good understanding of public libraries, museums and cultural venues and their community role.

Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day operations of the facility and supervise volunteers.
• Provide a warm welcome and high-quality customer service, including access to council and government services, and give information and guidance to customers.
