Zusammenfassung

Powys County Council is seeking a friendly and proactive library and cultural services assistant to deliver excellent customer service and support residents, visitors and groups. You will help run daily operations and supervise volunteers across cultural venues.

You will assist customers with ICT and digital resources, promote libraries, museums and cultural activities, and work as part of a team to develop engaging events and services for diverse audiences.

Qualifikationen

• Good general education - 5 GCSEs A-C or equivalent.
• Experience using ICT and digital systems.
• Ability to work on own initiative and within a team.

• Operate day-to-day library/cultural service duties and supervise volunteers.
• Provide a warm welcome, high levels of customer service and guidance to customers.
• Support customers with a wide range of digital systems and resources.
• Promote cultural facilities and participate in activities/events to encourage participation.
• Apply ICT skills and adapt to changing technologies at work.
• Have knowledge of public libraries, museums and cultural venues and their community roles.
• Demonstrate commitment to high standards and professionalism.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
