Senior Sous Chef | Full Time

The role |

As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be an inspiring leader, creating a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support in coaching and developing your team to excel while driving restaurant performance and delivering excellent results.

  • Focus on creating a caring and supportive environment, nurturing talent, and role modeling a coaching culture within management.
  • Are committed to delivering an exceptional guest experience, ensuring dishes meet high standards and your team is well-equipped.
  • Maintain impeccable food, health, and safety standards, and understand financial aspects like gross profit, stock control, and labor costs.
  • Build a coaching culture, working with your Head Chef on recruitment and development, fostering growth within your team.
  • Are a proactive problem solver, able to think quickly and make decisions.

What we look for |

  • Experience leading a kitchen team as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of having considerate and supportive conversations.
  • Experience in maintaining high standards of food safety and health standards.
  • Understanding of kitchen financials, including gross profit and stock management.
  • Ability to manage labor costs and adapt to changing demands.
  • Leadership qualities that inspire and engage teams, fostering respect and inclusivity.
  • Problem-solving skills, quick thinking, and decision-making abilities.
